RESOPAL has donated 25 HPL boards specially coated for skateboard ramps to support a new leisure centre for roller sports fans in Groß-Umstadt – a living example of corporate social responsibility as an active part of the community. Roller sports fans can enjoy their sport and socialise at the same time. The project was initiated by airbag craftworks in collaboration with the youth centre Kinder- und Jugendförderung Groß-Umstadt.

This Graduate Program enables young graduates to become familiar with the company and its various specialised professions, to work collaboratively on projects and receive tutoring from highly experienced in-house staff for the duration of their contract. This provides them with enhanced insight into the company and helps them to decide on their future career, an approach which also contributes to retaining talent.

The young people on this program also have the opportunity to :

  • acquire a broad overview of the company.
  • build their network.
  • work with a team.
  • learn quickly.
  • demonstrate their abilities to deal with major challenges.
  • pursue their training.

It also enables the company to attract young people to a less attractive employment sector, and to contribute to the creation of a talent pool in anticipation of the future.

PROJECTS WITH SCHOOLS AND KINDERGARTENS

A special example from the company's history and our regional commitment is the art campaign that was carried out in cooperation with four kindergartens in the centre of Groß-Umstadt. As part of this campaign, the children were able to put their creative skills to the test and paint numerous pictures, which were then printed onto weather-resistant RESOPAL façade panels. Today, they proudly adorn several buildings on the company premises. The children and their families were invited to an open day to marvel at the paintings and celebrate the works of the young artists.

RESOPAL has supported the Wendelinus School with motif-printed, weather-resistant façade panels. The school name is now proudly displayed on them. This special project was carried out with 10 creative pupils from Years 3 and 4, who designed and created the letters. These 16 letters are almost symbolic of the 16 years that headmistress Petra Wilhelms worked at Wendelinus School and are a farewell gift to the school.
