In laboratory areas, the protection of employees is a top priority. Therefore, special requirements apply to the materials and work surfaces used there. With Solid Phenolic Compact Panels from Durcon (SCP), we have developed a particularly resistant and chemical-resistant compact panel.
OUTSTANDING PROPERTIES
We have been a partner to the laboratory furniture industry for over 40 years. This experience has also been incorporated into the development of our Durcon Solid Phenolic compact panels. The flame-retardant panels are particularly popular for laboratory furniture such as tables, chemical shelves, cabinets or wall panelling. The electron steel-hardened surfaces offer particularly high protection against a wide range of acids, solvents and cleaning agents. The resistance to chemicals even exceeds the requirements of EN 438 and SEFA. The surfaces are easy to clean, scratch and impact resistant. Durcon Solid Phenolic compact panels are approved for vertical and horizontal applications. Due to the outstanding product properties, the compact panels are also used in many other areas, e.g. staircases of hospitals or lift cabins of airports.
